Radio One's Milk Run have used another two of my sketches... Talked to one of the producers a couple of nights ago and she let me know what one of their upcoming shows will be about, so have sent in a few sketches on that and hope to het something picked up. Still hearing positive stuff about last Saturday's shoe, and there will definitely be another in Oct or Nov.
Anit and I heading back to the UK on Sat 18th to get married, have a nice honeymoon in Europe. Have got a few gigs lined up - Pocklington, Whitby, Derby, Bristol and Glasgow.
First full length show at the Living Room last night - got an audience of 72, which I was very happy with. Thought it went reasonably well, despite lack of time to properly rehearse. Aaron Turner was excellent in the sketches we perormed together, Chris Garvin did a brilliant short set and Zak Touzin pulled off the best fall I've seen in a long time. Next one in October, and will include a bit more audio visual as well as professionaly recorded audio.
Thanks to everyone who came. I spotted a few...
Radio One's 'The Milk Run' have used two of my sketches 'Oh Lord' and 'The News'. You can find these this week at 'oneclick' on the BBC Radio One website. So another first for me, may many more follow...
Well, hello again, it's been a while. Still in Taiwan, now hosting 'Spotlight' at the Living Room alternate Thursdays and performing at 'Word' at Citizen Cain, on the Wednesdays of other weeks. March brings with it Anita and my's engagement meal and moving to our new place, June we head back to the UK for a month for the wedding, and the honeymoon in Barcelona and Nice.
Happy Chinese New Year.
Since I got back from the Uk, I feel the gigs at Citizen Cain have been going much better. I think the concentrated practice during the Summer really paid off. Come and see if you agree, Citizen Cain, Taipei, this Wednesday from around 10.

Thanks for reading...
Well at least I'm still making regular entries.
The Uk went well - eight gigs in the end: Stockton - brilliant, Hartlepool - terrible, Newcastle - ok, Manchester - ok, Pocklington - Brilliant, London x 3 - good, very good, okay. Saw a lot of the acts I've been hearing about - MikeManera, Shaun Hutchins, Phil Klein, Nina the Cleaner, Hazel Humphreys and Carey Marx to name but a few.
Stayed in London for a week, at a comedians' house. Met Carey Marx, Phil Nichol, Ron Vaudrey, Jim Jeffries, Janice Phayre and Rob Heeney who were all staying at one point or another. Best moment was probably discussing baby terrorism with Phil and Carey.
Also managed to catch new band 'The Honeymoon' at an In store - lots of potential there, and picked up a few stand-up and scriptwriting books. Nice to get back and see Phil (Nichol) in Time magazine in their piece on 'One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest' with Christain Slater.
Anyway, things go on as usual. Have finished my first sitcom script for 6 months and wil start touting it around when I've had time to distance myself and check it out less partially.
See ya
